- What time do the parking lots and gates open?
The parking lots will officially open to the public at 8 a.m. each day.
The gates are open from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- What time does the show start and when will the U.S. Navy Blue Angels be performing?
The performances begin at 11 a.m.
The Blue Angels will be performing their amazing demonstration both days, weather permitting. No time schedule is posted as it is subject to weather and cloud coverage.

- Can I bring lawn chairs and is bleacher seating available?Yes. camp chairs are permitted. The bags that hold collapsible chairs will not be allowed.No. We do not have bleacher seating available at the show. Collapsable chairs are recommended.Keep in mind that everything is subject to search.
- Is there a charge for admission or parking?
Admission and parking are FREE and open to the public. Guests are invited to sit almost anywhere in the park to watch the show, but seats along the flight line are on a first-come first-serve basis. Premium Seating tickets can be purchased.
The airshow marks reserves special seating areas for sponsors, staff and family of the performers.
- Are coolers permitted at the airshow?No. Coolers are not permitted inside the Airshow gates. Small coolers to accommodate breast pumps and milk are permitted, however all bags are subject to search by security.
- Are pets allowed?
Sorry, there are no pets allowed (with the exception of service animals.)
- What is a static display?
A static display is an aircraft that is on display inside the spectator area. It is not an aircraft that will perform in the show but it will be available to view and take pictures.
- Is there shade?
There are limited areas of shade available throughout the flight line, and you can also take a walk through one of our larger static displays to get a break from the sun. Hats are recommended as umbrellas are not allowed.

- Can I leave and re-enter the airshow?
Yes. You can leave and return as much as needed.
- What happens if there is rain or other weather delays?
In the event of rain, some flying demonstrations may be delayed or postponed. However, unless the weather poses a serious threat to the safety of the visitors and participants, the show will proceed as scheduled with some modifications.

- Is food or bottled water allowed?
NO outside food is allowed.
ONLY clear empty bottles or empty camelbacks will be allowed into the area (can be filled up at hydration stations)
- Advisory: No Drone Zone
No aircraft, including any drone (UAS), may be operated within five nautical miles of the Lincoln Airport during the Guardians of Freedom Airshow. The specific restricted time periods are shown in the temporary flight restriction (TFR) NOTAM shown below.
- Is smoking allowed at the airshow?
Cigarettes and e-Cigarettes are allowed inside the airshow, but are to be used in the designated smoking area only.
- Emergency Plan
In the event of a weather emergency, public will be asked to evacuate the main show area and shelter in their vehicle until the area is cleared and safe for departure.

- Where can I see a map of the airshow and where do I park?
To keep the airbase clean for use, no paper airshow maps are provided. Alternatively you can find a map of the airshow on our website or visit one of the several information stations that will have maps and volunteers to help direct you.
For parking information, refer to the map available on our website. There will be a handicap parking area close to the gates. All parking is completely free.
- Is there a radio broadcast of the airshow?
Should messaging be neccessary during the Lincoln Airshow all communication will be done through FM frequency 100.3.
- Is there a clear bag policy in effect?
Be Clear on Event Day
Guardians of Freedom Airshow Clear Bag Policy strictly limits the size and types of bags that are permitted.

Each guest may carry one bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC (Clear bags must not be larger than 12" x 12" x 6")

In addition to one of the clear bags noted above, guests may also carry in a small clutch purse or wallet with or without a handle or strap,

Metal detector screening and a search of all items being carried in will take place at the entry gates.
